Arsenal transfer news – No bid for Timothy Castagne

With Leicester City relegated to the EFL Championship, their talented squad is essentially easy pickings for interested clubs. The main wantaway is James Maddison, however, Timothy Castagne is also gaining interest.

Despite reports linking him to Arsenal, Fabrizio Romano has today stated that actually, there has been no official bid from Arsenal at this stage. Whether or not they remain interested and will bid soon remains to be seen but for now, these links can be rubbished.

Winning Arsenal’s player of the season honour, it was only right that the captain pulled through. Martin Odegaard led by example on the pitch, after many (myself included) questioned the original decision to make him club captain.

With reports linking him to Paris Saint-Germain earlier this month, this led many Arsenal fan to panic. However, fear not as Fabrizio Romano has provided some more clarity once again. The transfer expert claims that Odegaard is hopeful with his contract talks, since he loves Arsenal and wants to stay there for a long time.
