Chelsea transfer news – Mateo Kovacic “wants the Manchester City move”

According to trusted transfer expert Fabrizio Romano, Manchester City have advanced in their move to sign Mateo Kovacic from Chelsea. The world-class midfielder wants the move to play under Pep Guardiola, meaning there is just a transfer fee between the two clubs to discuss now.

With Chelsea’s efforts to balance the books, I wouldn’t be surprised to see Kovacic leave for an underwhelming fee.

Chelsea transfer news – Mauricio Pochettino eyes Aymeric Laporte

According to the latest report from HITC, Chelsea have now joined the race to sign Aymeric Laporte. The Manchester City defender is one of the best in the world at what he does but due to the strong defensive lineup at Manchester City and players such as Ruben Dias and Nathan Ake proving to be some of the best in the league, Laporte may be surplus to requirements.

However, Bayern Munich would also like to sign the defender, whose salary currently sits at a generous £130,000 per week.

Chelsea transfer news – Chelsea almost agree terms with Moises Caicedo

According to the latest from Fabrizio Romano, Chelsea have almost agreed personal terms with Moises Caicedo. The deal is a long way from being complete, but when personal terms are agreed this will be a huge step. For sure, Moises Caicedo will leave this summer given the promise made to him by Roberto De Zerbi in January.
