Liverpool Transfer News – Mo Salah’s agent shuts down rumours of player speaking with PSG

Rumours out of France this week have touted Mo Salah as a target for Paris Saint-Germain. One French outlet, Sport Zone, has reported that Nasser Al-Khelaifi, president of PSG, had travelled to Morocco to visit Mo Salah, who is on international duty with Egypt. French news aggregator, Get French Football News, had tweeted about the story. Mo Salah’s agent Ramy Abbas Issa has put a swift end to the now outlandish rumour. Mo Salah is and will remain a Liverpool player despite the easy clickbait to suggest he might leave.

Liverpool Transfer News – Leighton Clarkson moves permanently to Scottish Premiership side Aberdeen

Aberdeen have announced that they have signed midfielder Leighton Clarkson from Liverpool. Clarkson spent last season on loan from Liverpool at Aberdeen but has now made a permanent switch. Clarkson has signed a contract with The Dons that runs until 2027. Clarkson came up through Liverpool’s youth system and had a loan spell at Blackburn Rovers last season. Aberdeen reports that the fee for the transfer is undisclosed.

Liverpool Transfer News – Keito Nakamura is tracked by the club; Dortmund also interested

According to Adrian Kajumba of the Daily Mail, Liverpool is among a handful of clubs looking at LASK’s Keito Nakamura. The Japanese sensation scored 17 goals last season in Austria between league and cup competitions. Nakamura is 21 and is considered an out-and-out winger. Nakamura has played just two matches for Japan but recently scored in a 6-0 win over Honduras. Daily Mail reports the likes of Aston Villa and Borussia Dortmund are also monitoring the player.
