According to David Ornstein of The Athletic, Arsenal is moving to sign Kai Havertz from Chelsea and has sent a proposal. The club has been in recent contact with Havertz and Chelsea over a move and is expected to step up efforts in pursuing a deal. Bayern Munich is also said to be interested, as former Chelsea manager Thomas Tuchel remains an admirer of Havertz. The Guardian is reporting that Chelsea wants Kai Havertz for £70M, but Arsenal are not likely to pay such a fee.
Arsenal Transfer News – Ethan Nwaneri looks likely to leave Arsenal this summer
The 2007-born midfielder, Ethan Nwaneri, will see his ‘schoolboy registration’ at Arsenal expire at the end of June. The Athletic is reporting that there is an internal belief that Nwaneri will not re-sign with Arsenal. Chelsea, Manchester City and Manchester United are all monitoring the situation and could pound come July. Nwaneri made Premier League history when he subbed against Brentford, making him the youngest ever player to make a Premier League debut.

According to Gary Jacob of The Times, management at Arsenal has become increasingly disappointed in the performances of Thomas Partey in the latter half of the season. With just two years left on his current contract, the Ghanian international could leave Arsenal to make way for Brighton’s Moises Caicedo. Brighton wants around £80M for Caicedo, and there is likely to be plenty of interest for the midfielder this summer. The Times reports that there are unnamed Italian clubs interested in signing Thomas Partey.
