Manchester United Transfer News – David De Gea likely to stay at the club despite wanting to return home
According to a report from ESPN, the most likely outcome is David De Gea, the Spanish goalkeeper, accepting the contract offer from the club. ESPN hint that De Gea would have preferred a move closer to home in Spain, but there is not a realistic opening for him in La Liga at the current moment. De Gea’s contract expires later this month, and should he not accept United’s offer, he could be of interest to Saudi Arabian clubs, per ESPN.
Manchester United Transfer News – Former City academy player Felix Nmecha on the club’s radar
According to Patrick Berger from SPORT1, Manchester United and Borussia Dortmund are admirers of Wolfsburg’s Felix Nmecha. It is believed that the German midfielder could depart the club for around £13M. Nmecha is a familiar name to those in the Manchester football circles. Felix, along with his brother Lukas grew up in the city after moving from Germany at a young age. Both came up through the Manchester City academy but now play for Wolfsburg in the Bundesliga. At 22 years old, Nmecha would be seen as a squad player for the future.
