Chelsea Transfer News – Rasmus Hojlund among options being considered for their striker position

A recent AMP live stream hosted by transfer guru Fabrizio Romano (transcribed by CFCPys) revealed some insight into Chelsea’s centre-forward plans.

"“They like Osimhen, they have had conversations in terms of conditions of the deal for Hojlund, many different options, but they haven’t decided who yet.”“They feel Nkunku can help at #9 but behind the striker mainly, this is why Felix is not staying.”"

As previously reported by The Top Flight, Atalanta’s Rasmus Hojlund is also a target for Manchester United. The club will not be signing Joao Felix, who was on loan this season from Atletico Madrid, as he will be replaced by the incoming Christopher Nkunku. The club will also have to decide what they do with Kai Havertz, subject to Real Madrid’s interest, and Armando Broja, who is recovering from a knee injury.

Chelsea Transfer News – AC Milan wants to sign Carney Chukwuemeka on loan this summer

Carney Chukwuemeka joined Chelsea last summer from Aston Villa but has struggled to find consistent playing time. Gianluca Di Marzio is reporting that AC Milan is keeping an eye on the player and could pursue a deal. It is believed that Chelsea could let the player leave on loan with an option-to-buy which would be very enticing for AC Milan. Chukwuemeka recently featured at the U20 World Cup for England but remains eligible for Nigeria and Austria.

Chelsea Transfer News – Andre Onana has admirers at Chelsea, and Romano hints a swap deal

Also revealed in a recent AMP livestream by Romano was the club’s interest in Andre Onana. It is believed that a director at Chelsea tried to sign Andre Onana in the past and is a fan of the Cameroonian keeper. Onana recently featured in the Champions League final for Inter against Manchester City. It is yet to be decided what will happen with Edouard Mendy, but a swap deal could be on the table.

"“I think for GK and Chelsea we have to wait, they need to clarify what they do with Edouard Mendy, is the club signing Mendy keen on giving Chelsea their goalkeeper? I think this is what Chelsea will try to do” [Transcribed by CFCPys]"

Does a Mendy / Onana swap make sense for both Chelsea and Inter? That remains to be seen, but it looks to be something to keep an eye on.
