In a jaw-dropping turn of events, Sheikh Jassim, the Qatari business tycoon, has tabled his fifth and final bid to secure 100% of Manchester United. The journalists and tabloids also state that this is the “Take it or leave it” offer from the Qatari businessman to buy the club.
The final bid is again to secure 100% of the club and there will be no more engagement and bids from the Qatari group. Post this Friday, the Qatari group does not intend to hold any conversation with the Raine Group and the Glazers family regarding the sale. It’s a bold statement of intent that leaves no room for doubt: it’s now or never for the Qatari powerhouse to claim the crown jewel of English football

Sir Jim Ratcliffe and Sheikh Jassim are the only two publicly declared bidders for Manchester United. Sheikh Jassim is aiming for the complete club whereas Sir Jim Ratcliffe intends to buy 51% of the club with still Glazers holding a substantial share. Sheikh Jassim’s final bid is a staggering one at approximately £5 billion far exceeding the current valuation of Manchester United at £2.47 billion on the New York Stock Exchange.
