Liverpool Transfer News – Ryan Gravenberch could still leave Bayern Munich but it will be up to Thomas Tuchel
As talked about by Kerry Hau on the Die Bayern-Woche podcast [via iMiaSanMia], Ryan Gravenberch’s future is still undecided at Bayern. Gravenberch was a signing of the recently departed Hasan Salihamidzic and it is now unclear on the current management’s view of the player. Tuchel will have to present a plan to the player on his role at the club or else a move abroad may happen. Liverpool has been widely reported as one of the clubs monitoring his situation and it looks still be one to watch.
Liverpool Transfer News – Schalke sporting director confirms club wants van den Berg back despite relegation
German giants Schalke were relegated from the Bundesliga this season. On-loan from Liverpool, Sepp van den Berg spent most of the campaign injured but became a regular starter for the club near the end of the season. Voetbal International shared that Schalke sporting director Andre Hechelmann confirmed talks are just ongoing between van de Berg’s agent and the club. The Dutch centre-back posted on Instagram about his season on loan with Schalke, perhaps signalling a goodbye. Despite this, Hechelmann believes the post is more or less just a thank you and not confirming a departure. van den Berg signed an extension with Liverpool that will keep him at the club until 2026.
Liverpool Transfer News – Alexis Mac Allister’s father set to travel to England
As reported by Fabrizio Romano, Alexis Mac Allister’s father along with his agent will travel to England to meet with Liverpool representatives. The final details of the personal terms are close and the expectation is that things will be confirmed sometime next week. At this point, an official announcement seems a matter of when not if.
