Liverpool Transfer News – Mason Mount expected to join Manchester United after agreeing to personal terms

Per Jason Burt and James Ducker of The Telegraph, Mason Mount has agreed to personal terms with Manchester United. It has been long reported that Mason Mount is a target of Liverpool and at one point it felt like the Merseyside club was leading the race. Fabrizio Romano reports that Chelsea wants at least £68.8M for Mason Mount although Manchester United sees a massive gap in this valuation. It seems as though Liverpool has moved on from Mount as a potential target, with others now being considered.

Liverpool Transfer News – Talks held with OGC Nice’s Khephren Thuram

RMC Sport reports that Liverpool has spoken to Khephren Thuram’s entourage. Liverpool inquired about what potential personal terms would look like and if the player would be interested in a move. RMC reports that Nice would want upward of £34M for the French midfielder should he move. Liverpool is currently said to be in the lead for Khephren Thuram.

Liverpool Transfer News – £34M valued Gabri Veiga will likely leave for the Premier League

Fabrizio Romano reports that the race for Gabri Veiga is still wide open and a club will have to pay his £34M release clause for him to leave. Romano states that the feeling as of now is Veiga is most likely to land at a Premier League side should he leave Celta Vigo this summer. Liverpool was previously linked to Gabri Veiga via TEAMTALK. Given the club has missed out on Jude Bellingham and is set to sign Mac Allister for a bargain, there will be plenty of cash left for the midfield. It is yet to be seen if Liverpool will be the team to pay the release clause fee.
