Chelsea transfer news – Mauricio Pochettino favourite to sign Raphinha

According to the latest report from SPORT (via Sport Witness), Chelsea have emerged as the new favourites to sign Raphinha from Barcelona. The Brazilian forward is one of those who Barca might be forced to sell given their efforts to balance the financial books.

Raphinha has shown signs of inconsistency but it could be put down to adjustment issues since his form is ripe towards the end of this season. Still, his future at Camp Nou remains unknown.

Chelsea transfer news – Chelsea favourites to sign Victor Osimhen

I take any transfer headline with Victor Osimhen in it with a pinch of salt, but this one is worth reporting.

According to GiveMeSport, Chelsea are the favourites to sign 24-year-old bagsman Victor Osimhen from Napoli. It’s thought that they’ve already planned their financial package and are confident they can sign him from the Serie A champions.

Chelsea transfer news – Selling Kalidou Koulibaly is a struggle

Kalidou Koulibaly is one of the Chelsea players who is on the fringe of first team football but with the great form of those ahead of him in the pecking order (Thiago Silva and Benoit Badiashile for example), it looks like Koulibaly’s game time will be sparse under Mauricio Pochettino.

This is why the Argentine would like to sell him, however, according to Metro, that will be a difficult task. It’s thought that the Senegal international would like to stay and prove his worth rather than moving somewhere he’s guaranteed game time. His comfortable £200,000 wage could also be the reason he refuses to move.
