When he officially takes charge of Chelsea, Mauricio Pochettino is going to inherit an absolute mess. There’s no point beating around the bush, the Argentine manager knows this which is why he’s already working hard before his official employment commences.

There are many Chelsea players who aren’t fit to wear the shirt. In fact, that makes most of them. Poch doesn’t want these types of players playing under his tutelage, so they will be disregarded as soon as he is able to make the calls.

The Top Flight already reported yesterday that Joao Felix is not wanted at Chelsea. Since then, the Atletico Madrid board have been informed and they will plan their actions accordingly. Although, given Felix’s heated relationship with Atleti manager Diego Simeone, I can’t see him finding a home back in the Spanish capital, either.

But… Who are the other 2 attackers that Mauricio Pochettino does not want?

Mauricio Pochettino disregards 3 Chelsea flops

Having already addressed Joao Felix, Mauricio Pochettino does not want to work with Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang. The feeling is mutual from the player too, since he’s been asking for a move away since the day he joined. Aubameyang is definitely the biggest flop in recent history. He’s been woeful and absent every time he puts on the Chelsea shirt.

Secondly, Mauricio Pochettino has no plans for Christian Pulisic, so he will be sold as well. According to The Mirror, Pulisic will receive interest from Juventus, Napoli and AC Milan, alongside Premier League rivals Manchester United and Newcastle United. Either way, he won’t be playing for Chelsea under Poch.

Say what you want about Poch’s resilience, it’s this type of approach which is needed to steer Chelsea back to the direction of a superclub. At the moment, they are an embarrassment with their only leader, Todd Boehly, not knowing the first thing about football. They need an expert like Pochettino to come in and challenge the failing authority at the club.
