Arsenal transfer news – Verbal agreement reached with Declan Rice

The transfer saga of the summer for Arsenal will be Declan Rice. With there already being multiple twists and turns, it remains to be seen whether this saga is even in its final stages yet.

Arsenal are battling with Bayern Munich for the signature of Declan Rice. According to journalist Luke Edwards (quoted in The Boot Room), there has been a verbal agreement for Arsenal to sign Rice. However, they still need to reach an agreement with West Ham, who could demand up to £150m.

According to the latest report from Calcio Mercato, Arsenal have entered the race alongside Manchester City to sign Leeds United forward Wilfried Gnonto. Gnonto really burst onto the scene in the final stages of this Premier League season, with his rapid pace, dribbling and creativity proving invaluable to Leeds, although they struggled to stay up.

Gnonto is one of those players who is surely good enough for a move to a Premier League team, so Arsenal hope they can convince Leeds.
