Brighton transfer news – 90% chance Moises Caicedo will leave
Three things are inevitable in life – Death, taxes & Moises Caicedo leaving Brighton. Or at least that was the sentiment, until Fabrizio Romano released a semi-positive update on the situation of Moises Caicedo.
Speaking on his YouTube channel (quoted by The Boot Room), Romano claimed that Moises Caicedo has a 90% chance of leaving Brighton this summer, which looks positive when compared to Alexis Mac Allister’s 100% chance.
Brighton transfer news – €40m bid made for Davide Frattesi
One of the players who Brighton are intensely linked with signing is Davide Frattesi, current midfielder at Serie A club Sassuolo. A major update from TuttoMercatoWeb has indicated that a bid in the region of €40m has been made.
The bad news for Brighton fans is that it doesn’t indicate which club submitted the bid, just that it’s a club from the Premier League. Given De Zerbi’s uncertainty as to whether Frattesi is the right player for his side, I highly doubt the bid would come from Brighton at this time.
Brighton transfer news – Andi Zeqiri likely to leave this summer
Selling players that are out on loan is a bittersweet feeling. Sometimes it’s for the best but when they’re in great form, it seems like a wasted opportunity. One Brighton player who is currently out on loan is Andi Zeqiri, playing for Swiss club Basel.
Zeqiri has shown great form out on loan, scoring 18 goals and providing two assists. With that being said, Basel would like to sign him permanently, with the player also favouring the move to his home country.
