Manchester United have been incredibly efficient in their chase of Napoli centre-back Kim Min-Jae. According to Italian outlet Il Mattino, the Red Devils are “closing in” on signing Kim Min-Jae, meaning the deal could be reaching its final stages soon.

With this in mind, Napoli has already been shortlisting his potential replacement. This bodes well for Erik ten Hag, since he needs a solid defence to make the club genuine title contenders next season.

Manchester United transfer news – Erik ten Hag linked again with Victor Osimhen

Not only is Erik ten Hag chasing a world-class defender, but he’d also like to sign an elite goal scorer to compete with the likes of Manchester City and Arsenal. According to the latest report from Corriere dello Sport (press image provided on The Faithful MUFC), Manchester United are putting together their finances to “invest” in Victor Osimhen.

Osimhen has been one of the best players in the world this season, yet again netting a brace in his title-winning side’s last game of the season.

Manchester United transfer news – Erik ten Hag considers James Maddison

With Chelsea proving strict on their valuation of Mason Mount, this is forcing Manchester United to consider other options. Thankfully for them, with Leicester City being relegated on the final day of the season, this presents them with a chance to sign James Maddison, who is thought to be too good to be playing in the Championship.

Although, the Red Devils must be quick since there’ll be many sides who would like to snatch Maddison.
