Arsenal played the last game of the season against Wolves and regardless what happened towards the end of this season, the Gunners had a blast. Winning by a comfortable 5-0 scoreline, Aaron Ramsdale was left with virtually nothing to do all game. Well, we all know that Ramsdale ALWAYS finds a way to entertain himself during games like this.

According to Football London, the England shot stopper annoyed the away fans after they were giving him some stock. The report states that Ramsdale would bounce up and down, mimicking and gesturing towards the Wolves fans, which really annoyed them.

What makes this even more hilarious (and it is hilarious, regardless of what some salty Wolves fans might say), is that Ramsdale is a boyhood West Brom fan. This already made him public enemy number one, hence the stick from Wolves fans.

Granted, Ramsdale might be a master of the dark arts, but he never does so unprovoked. He’s had some hilarious displays this season, including when he mocked the world’s biggest flop Richarlison, only to anger the £60m TikTok merchant. But even this was a provoked mockery, since Richarlison was in his face first.

The reason why I bring this up is because Ramsdale isn’t the type of person to sit around and do nothing when he is being targeted. Instead, he will give just as well as he takes. And this should be the nature of football. A long time ago before social media was a thing, the relationship between fans and players would be more like this, and that’s what made the game so beautiful.

In fairness, I think the Wolves fans took it well since I haven’t seen any complaints on social media. Perhaps they were more bitter at their side’s performance, which you can’t blame them for since they were the worst side Arsenal have come up against this season.

What do you make of Aaron Ramsdale’s dark arts?
