Player of the Year, Young Player of the Year, and Manager of the Year are up for grabs at the end of this Premier League season.

The end of each season brings awards for the Premier League and individual teams as well. While Chelsea has canceled their end-of-season team awards, the rest of the league will carry on. Some of the most recent winners of the PFA Player of the Year include Mohamed Salah, Kevin De Bruyne, Virgil Van Dijk, N’Golo Kante, Riyad Mahrez, and more. Looking back at these names provides a picture of the past, where the league was at, *and likely* who won the league that season, proving a fun trip down memory lane.

Here are my picks for the three main end-of-season awards.

Hublot Young Player of the Year: Bukayo Saka (Arsenal)

Nominees: Sven Botman, Moises Caicedo, Bukayo Saka, Erling Haaland, Alexander Isak, Alexis Mac Allister, Gabriel Martinelli, Martin Ødegaard

This has to be his year, doesn’t it? In years gone by, he has been competing with Phil Foden, Mason Mount, and Trent Alexander-Arnold but this, Saka will hope turns out different. If anything, he’ll face a lot of stiff competition from his own teammates in Gabriel Marinelli, or even Martin Ødegaard. Unfortunately for him, he is also in the same category as record-breaker Erling Haaland, which will prove difficult. If Haaland does take home both Young Player of the Year and Player of the Year, he could make even more history.

With 13 goals and 11 assists in what was an incredible Premier League campaign for Arsenal, Saka was a driving force and contributed at the highest level as his influence continues to grow in this league. While some might see their season as a disappointment, his season was immense. He increased both his goal tally along with his assist numbers compared to last season, making both of his hauls in those categories career highs in his still-young playing career.

This year it would feel right if the Young Player of the Year award finally found the hands of Bukayo Saka.
