As they look ahead to next season, Spurs fans will be hopeful of change. It’s been a season to forget for their team, as they started so positively but ended so awfully. They are now without a permanent manager, but this period of change could bring about a period of hope for the London club.

The summer transfer window is one which will be met with mixed reception from Spurs fans. Obviously, they’ll be under a new manager who’ll bring a fresh approach to the recruitment side of things, but whether or not he’s backed by the board is another story.

Eberechi Eze unbothered by Spurs links

One player who Spurs have been linked with quite consistently is Eberechi Eze, currently playing (and shining) for London rivals Crystal Palace. Since Palace are the type of team to stay in mid-table season after season, it’s thought that Eze must secure a move away to a team who can challenge the big dogs.

Although Spurs suck at winning trophies, one thing that they are good at is developing young players and providing great moments throughout the season. With that being said, Spurs isn’t enough to excite Eze.

According to the Evening Standard, Eze is not too bothered by reports linking him to Spurs. Instead, the Englishman who is yet to receive an international cap is happy at Crystal Palace, and has dismissed any rumours linking him with a move away from the club – at least for this summer transfer window, anyway.

Let’s not forget, that this could easily be a PR move. Obviously, Eze kind of HAS to say that to the press, since if he gives any inclination away that he’s excited by a move to a bigger and better club, Palace would be unhappy with him.

Eze is also linked with Liverpool, another club who have underperformed this season and in need of a positive signing.

Do you think Spurs will sign Eberechi Eze?
