Manchester United predicted lineup vs Fulham: Third place in sight
By Sachin Bhat
Manchester United draw the curtains on their 2022-23 Premier League campaign at home to Fulham on Sunday as they aim to secure third place. The Red Devils must match Newcastle United’s result against Chelsea for that with the Magpies sitting just two points behind them in fourth position.
Erik ten Hag’s side also enters the game on the back of three consecutive wins and will look to end their league run with four wins in a row. Here’s how they could line up.

Golden Gloves winner David de Gea, who has kept 17 clean sheets, could start once more although Jack Butland is looking to make his first appearance of the season in goal for Manchester United.
Diogo Dalot could come in for Aaron Wan-Bissaka at the right-back with Harry Maguire replacing Raphael Varane in central defense. He could be paired with Victor Lindelof. At the left-back, Tyrell Malacia could start ahead of Luke Shaw.
United’s creator-in-chief Bruno Fernandes might not get a reprieve here and will be asked to pull the strings for his team once more, but Scott McTominay should have a rare start while Casemiro could retain his place.
In attack, there shouldn’t be any surprises as Jadon Sancho, Marcus Rashford and Anthony Martial are likely to take their place upfront once more. Antony, however, won’t feature after picking up a nasty-looking injury in their last game.
Rashford scored his 30th goal of the season last time and will hope to bag a goal or two more here, while Martial has looked solid lately, scoring in two of their last three league games.
Head coach Erik ten Hag could make more changes to his side given the FA Cup final against Manchester City coming up the next weekend as he aims to wrap up his first season with a cup double.
