West Ham United will target £50m Leicester’s young English sensation

West Ham United have had a fairly good end to the season. I mean, overall the season has been bad but they secured a place in the top flight for next season and they’re in the Europa Conference League final. If they win this final, then it’s fair to say their season has been a success overall.
But as they prepare for the big European final, the recruitment team at the London Stadium is working hard to devise a plan to emulate similar success next season. By looking at the current West Ham squad, it’s clear what they need: an elite number 6 midfielder (since Declan Rice will be on his way out) and a winger who can provide an abundance of pace on the flank.
According to The Daily Mail, they may have the perfect plan to address the latter issue. The report claims that West Ham are really interested in signing Leicester City winger Harvey Barnes.
This weekend will be the perfect time for the Hammers to scout Barnes properly, since it is the last fixture between the two sides. Leicester City need a win and for results surrounding them to go their way if they are to stay up next season, so they’ll field their strongest eleven which Barnes is definitely a part of.
Barnes has played 33 times in the Premier League this season and returned 13 goals which is an incredible return in that struggling Leicester side. His versatility makes him the perfect player to play under David Moyes, since he can play any position in the front line. Although, like I said, he’ll more than likely be deployed as the winger who can provide a lot of pace and the ability to cut inside.
Do you think Harvey Barnes would be a good signing for Leicester City this summer?
