Chelsea transfer news – Frank Lampard confirms he’ll leave this summer

This one won’t come as a surprise, but Frank Lampard has essentially confirmed he won’t take the full-time responsibility of managing the sinking ship which is Chelsea. Having managed for nine games, the Blues boss managed seven losses, a draw and a win. Good going.

When asked if he will manage Chelsea next season, quite directly he responded with “No, a new manager will come in.”

Chelsea transfer news – Romeo Lavia could unlock Enzo Fernandez

It would be unfair to label Enzo Fernandez as a flop. One, because he’s been one of the better Chelsea players this season and two, because he’s been used in the wrong role. Enzo Fernandez is not a destroyer but Chelsea have needed all the help they can get in this role, forcing Enzo out of position.

Expertly pointed out by Football London, the potential signing of Romeo Lavia would fill the destroyer role adequately, meaning Enzo is free to progress with the ball at his feet and help from an attacking perspective, in the role which suits him the most.

Chelsea transfer news – Paul Merson says Arsenal should sign Romelu Lukaku

Soon to be returning to Stamford Bridge after his incredibly lucky loan spell with Inter Milan, Chelsea will probably look to sell Lukaku as they plan wholesale changes to the squad in the summer.

According to Give Me Sport, Arsenal legend Paul Merson and turned football pundit thinks his former club should look to sign Romelu Lukaku, who he believes will be available in the summer.
