He was the first choice of the De Zerbi’s squad for almost six months, but Jason Steele has taken his spot in these last games – especially talking about the Premier League. Manchester United, Chelsea and Tottenham have already been linked with the player, but there is no news that any of the trio will bid for him this transfer window.

Brighton transfer news – Brentford is ready to make a move for Viktor Gyokeres

As Ivan Toney is banned for eight months, Brentford is looking for a replacement and it looks like Viktor Gyokeres, a former Brighton player now at Coventry, could be the perfect match. This sale could be great for the Seagulls, as the sell-on clause was inserted in the deal when Viktor joined the Championship team for £1M in the summer of 2021. Coventry is demanding at least £25M for their star striker and could be even more if they win the play-off final against Luton.
