Currently tearing the Premier League apart and winning the golden boot (and likely a winner’s medal) in his first season, Erling Haaland is considered one of the best young players in world football right now. He’s certainly the best in his position.

When Manchester City signed him, there were some doubters. This is likely to do with his age and the old cliche that he had no Premier League experience. Boy how he proved those doubters wrong as he currently has 36 Premier League goals this season and given the rate he’s scoring, I wouldn’t put it past him to hit the 40 mark by the end of this season.

Whether or not Erling Haaland is a freak of nature remains to be seen in his second season. While I’m in no position to doubt Haaland, it could easily be a case of defenders sussing him out and isolating his goal scoring abilities to prevent him next season. Time will tell but for now, he’s had a terrific season and worthy of the Premier League title.

ChatGPT has predicted that Erling Haaland has the potential to reach OR EVEN SURPASS the 40-goal mark next season. That’s a bold prediction, but I wouldn’t put it past him either.
