Arsenal transfer news – Martin Odegaard set for new contract

Martin Odegaard is soon to be “rewarding” for his outstanding season, if reports from Metro are to be believed. It’s thought that Arsenal are in the process of offering him a contract extension to keep him at the club for his long-term future, which if he continues his rich vein of form this season, fans will be delighted to hear.

The report also claims that Granit Xhaka will be allowed to leave this summer, making room for Declan Rice and/or Moises Caicedo.

Arsenal transfer news – Official bid for Declan Rice expected soon

It’s no secret that Arsenal want to sign Declan Rice. In fact, we reported a while ago that he had become the transfer priority at Arsenal for the upcoming summer transfer window. However, an official move is yet to be made.

Fans can expect to see some movement in regard to this immense transfer story in the coming weeks. According to Fabrizio Romano on YouTube, Arsenal will submit an official bid in the same time frame.

Arsenal transfer news – Wilfried Zaha offered insane Crystal Palace contract

One player who Arsenal are hoping to sign in the summer is the soon-to-be free agent Wilfried Zaha. They’ll face competition from Chelsea (obviously) for his signature. However, it won’t be as easy as the two clubs would’ve hoped, since Crystal Palace aren’t giving up easily.

According to talkSPORT (via Football365), Crystal Palace are prepared to offer Wilfried Zaha a mind-boggling £200,000 per week to keep him at Selhurst Park. This could persuade the winger to stay, despite interest from both Chelsea and Arsenal.
