As Arsenal prepare to host Brighton & Hove Albion at home on Sunday afternoon, Mikel Arteta hopes that he can field a full-strength lineup. While the title race is out of their hands, all they can do is to win every remaining fixture and hope that Manchester City drop points. With that being said, here’s the predicted Arsenal lineup I expect to face Brighton.

Predicted Arsenal lineup to face Brighton
Starting in goal, it’ll be Aaron Ramsdale. The England international boasted a proud clean sheet against Newcastle United away from home, the first in some time. He’ll hope to have an easier time getting this clean sheet against Brighton.
Then, the most obvious centre back pairing is Jakub Kiwior and Gabriel, who have played together twice in the last two games. Let’s hope that Mikel Arteta doesn’t get short-term memory loss and fields Holding instead, who many think has cost Arsenal the league.
At right-back, it’ll be Ben White. Coming up against his former club, he won’t know what’s at stake with the league standings since he doesn’t even like football. Then at left-back is someone who is obsessed with football, Oleksandr Zinchenko. It’s funny how opposites attract.
I do think Thomas Partey will come back into the starting eleven. While Jorginho played a good role in anchoring the defence and midfield against Newcastle, this isn’t as necessary at home to Brighton, where Partey’s immense ball carrying will prevail. He’ll partner Granit Xhaka and Martin Odegaard, the latter chasing a goal which would break De Bruyne’s record for the most non-penalty goals scored by a midfielder in a Premier League season.
Then, I think Bukayo Saka will be rested in attack. He’s had a great season but his form has depleted in recent weeks due to being tired. It’s only natural. Gabriel Jesus, Gabriel Martinelli and Leandro Trossard will lead the line.
