Liverpool Transfer News – Brighton has decided what they will let Moises Caicedo leave for
According to 90min’s Graeme Bailey, Moises Caicedo can leave the south-coast club if they can sell the midfielder for £80M (or higher). Caicedo was subject to much interest in January, with Arsenal launching an official bid for the player that was ultimately rejected. Liverpool are believed to be interested in Caicedo but it is yet to be seen whether or not they will step up to pay such a price.
Liverpool Transfer News – Ron-Robert Zieler could be the first signing Jorg Schmadtke at Liverpool
As per Fabrizio Romano, German football executive Jorg Schmadtke is expected to become the new sporting director at Liverpool. BILD is reporting that Schmadtke would be keen to bring Hannover keeper Ron-Robert Zieler to the club. The keeper would back up Alisson and would count as a home-grown player, having previously been in Manchester United’s academy. With Adrian expected to leave and Kelleher being subject to Premier League interest, Liverpool undoubtedly needs a new no. 2. Zieler is currently the captain of Hannover 96 who play in 2. Bundesliga. He was also signed by Schmadtke in 2010 when Hannover was still in the Bundesliga.
Liverpool Transfer News – Pursuit for Mason Mount and Matheus Nunes still on the table
According to Dominic King of the Daily Mail, Liverpool chief scouts Dave Fallows and Barry Hunter are keen to overhaul the midfield this summer. Alexis Mac Allister, Mason Mount, and Matheus Nunes are coined as “prime candidates” for Liverpool. King further reports that the Merseyside club has checked in on French midfielder Khepren Thuram but their interest is not expected to materialize much further.
