The season is not over for Spurs. The last 4 games are critical for what they have to desire for the next season. The Champions League dream could be challenging, especially because United has 6 games to play till the end and they’re already 9 points ahead, but it is not impossible. But, besides the next season’s desires, Daniel Levy has to go find a new manager to replace Antonio Conte and finally set the team for better results. Even the interim Cristian Stellini couldn’t handle the pressure after the humiliating loss against Newcastle. Here are some options that are on Tottenham’s shortlist for the next man in charge.

Julian Nagelsmann

The German manager is considered the biggest target on the list, not only for the great work at RB Leipzig and Bayern Munich but for his teams’ style. The idea of bringing in Nagelsmann is not new, as they already tried to hire him in 2019 and 2021. He’s also seen as someone who works well with youth players and that can rejuvenate and improve the team. But Tottenham is not the only English team that has the ex-Bayern commandant on their shortlist – Chelsea also reported to have interest in having him for the next season.

Oliver Glasner

One more from the German Bundesliga. The Austrian manager revolutionized Eintracht Frankfurt, winning the Europa League in 2022 and reaching the semifinals of the DFB Pokal, the German Cup. The great side of choosing Glasner is that he showed work improving players and could even bring them to the Premier League, like Daichi Kamada – whose contract is already close to expiring.

Luis Enrique

The man who was in charge of the Spanish squad at the last World Cup is a highly regarded name. Champion in everything he competed, he can bring a light that the club needs, but he could also arrive at the club demanding investments in the team and control, just like Mourinho and Conte did.

Mauricio Pochettino

The Argentinian is still an option. The good side of this is that Pochettino already knows well almost the whole squad and could improve players that he already worked with but are not doing that well this season, like Eric Dier for example. He also brought the team to a Champions League final once, so he knows how to play the game and what this type of thing could bring to the club.

Which of these managers should Tottenham choose?
