Manchester United transfer news – Jassim wants to steal Neymar from Chelsea

The potential new owner of Manchester United Sheikh Jassim has already stamped his authority and is looking to impress the club.

According to Metro, Jassim wants his first marquee signing to be Neymar of Paris Saint-Germain. He will, of course, face competition from a plethora of European financial powerhouses. We must bear in mind that Chelsea are looking to sign the Brazil superstar, but they will be without Champions League football which could deter Neymar.

Currently, Neymar is nearing £1m per week in wages.

Manchester United transfer news – Erik ten Hag keen on Goncalo Inacio

According to a new report from Sport Witness, Manchester United are keen on the signing of Sporting CP defender Goncalo Inacio. Currently, Inacio has a release clause of €45m but the club are trying to offer him a new deal with an increased release clause of €80m. It is sly but United need to be quick to activate it if they are serious about signing him.

Currently out on loan at Nottingham Forest and frustrated by the lack of opportunities at Manchester United, goalkeeper Dean Henderson is looking for his next destination when he returns from loan, with Forest likely to be relegated.

According to Football Insider, Spurs have become interested in signing him as they seek a replacement for Hugo Lloris. Depending on their managerial situation, this could be a move which benefits all parties with Henderson seeking a push for England international football.
