Ahead of the important London derby, here is my Arsenal predicted lineup to face Chelsea. Mikel Arteta would like all of his players to be fit, although there are notable absentees in William Saliba, Takehiro Tomiyasu and Mohamed Elneny, all of which are likely to be out until next season.

Without further ado, let’s name the Arsenal predicted lineup…

Arsenal predicted lineup vs Chelsea

Starting off in goal, it will obviously be Aaron Ramsdale. He’s not been in the best form, conceding a shocking 11 goals in his last 4 Premier League matches. However, if there’s ever a time to step up as an Arsenal goalkeeper, it’s against Chelsea.

Not that he or the two centre backs, which will be Gabriel and Rob Holding, will have much to deal with from their opponents. Chelsea are shocking going forward, so it shouldn’t be too difficult to pick up a clean sheet here. This also means that Oleksandr Zinchenko and Ben White will have an easier time going forward.

Despite the injury concern to Granit Xhaka, things look positive in that regard. Therefore, I would expect the Swiss to start. He’ll play just ahead of Thomas Partey, who’ll hold the line, and just behind Martin Odegaard.

In the front three, I think it’s about time Leandro Trossard got his deserved start. Having been on the bench against City, Arsenal clearly missed his versatility. He’ll replace Martinelli in the front line, leaving space for Gabriel Jesus in the centre and Bukayo Saka off the right. These three can interchange throughout the match if need be.
