Chelsea injury news: Boost for Arsenal as Blues face triple injury concern
By Kian Long
In today’s Chelsea injury news – The Blues have an additional injury concern to deal with ahead of their important fixture against Arsenal at the Emirates Stadium.
The fixture is important for both sides. As far as Chelsea are concerned, not only will they be competing in this London derby for pride, but they also would want to avoid the scary potential of being dragged into a relegation scrap come the end of this season. Arsenal, on the other hand, want to keep their slim title hopes alive by having a perfect end to the season.
With that being said, interim boss Frank Lampard would like to pick up his first (ideally three) points this season. To achieve this, he’ll need to field his strongest possible eleven, but is that possible?

Chelsea injury news – Kai Havertz a doubt for the Arsenal match
German forward Kai Havertz missed the recent Premier League humiliation as Brentford outclassed Chelsea. He is tipped to return at some point this week but there are still injury concerns surrounding his name, according to London World. It’s a race against time and a tough decision from Lampard about whether he should rush Havertz back to action – I mean, he does have plenty of backup in attack.
Chelsea injury news – Mason Mount and Reece James ruled out
Unfortunately for Chelsea fans, the case remains. Mason Mount and Reece James have been ruled out until the end of the season. I guess this is a mixed emotion situation for Arsenal since they would’ve liked to see their next Chelsea signing, Mount, in action.
As for Reece James, he is quite a bit more important than Mount since he is virtually irreplaceable in this Chelsea system.
