Manchester United transfer news – Erik ten Hag urged to axe Harry Maguire and David de Gea

According to Team Talk, Manchester United legend Rio Ferdinand and Spurs player(?) Jermaine Jenas have urged Erik ten Hag to follow in Pep Guardiola’s footsteps by planning an exodus of unnecessary players.

The two pundits believe that David de Gea should be axed and a replacement brought in. Harry Maguire should suffer the same fate, with Raphael Varane and Lisandro Martinez the preferred options at centre-back.

Manchester United transfer news – Chelsea more likely to sign Harry Kane

With both Chelsea and Manchester United eyeing a new striker to sign in the summer, expect there to be transfer battles between the two clubs before the end of the window.

According to The Top Flight, Harry Kane is more likely to sign for Chelsea, despite United’s heavy interest and chance of qualifying for the Champions League. This is because Kane likes the idea of reuniting with his former boss Mauricio Pochettino, who is soon to be unveiled at Stamford Bridge.

Manchester United transfer news – New owner wants to sign Neymar

According to the latest report from Express, potential new club owner Sheikh Jassim has made his first transfer statement, as he wants to make a statement signing in Neymar.

The choice of Neymar is above the choices of Harry Kane and Victor Osimhen, which is ridiculous in my opinion since it shows he doesn’t care about the club’s need to sign an out-and-out striker. Move along Todd Boehly, we have a more clueless owner about to join the league.
