Manchester City host Arsenal in the Premier League on Wednesday in a potential title decider as the division’s top two sides battle it out at the Etihad in a titillating encounter.

Currently, the Gunners are five points ahead of the holders at the top of the table with 75 in 32 games, but City have played two games less and could effectively seal the trophy with a win here.

The pressure really is on Mikel Arteta’s side here, who face a do-or-die clash. Three draws in their last as many games has all but squished their hopes of a first top-flight crown in 19 years.

A win in this clash could revive their charge once more, but Arsenal will need to put up a monumental effort at a stadium they haven’t won in since January 2015.

Ahead of the mouth-watering encounter, here’s how Manchester City and Arsenal would lineup in a combined XI:

Goalkeeper: Ederson (Manchester City)

Ederson has played every minute of Manchester City’s 30 matches in the league thus far and kept 10 clean sheets. While his exploits between the sticks have largely been overshadowed by more glamorous stars, the Brazilian’s contributions in the side’s title push so far is undeniable.

He remains one of the best in the business for his game-reading ability, positional awareness, and incredible saves as Ederson’s interventions will be key to stopping Arsenal from scoring on Wednesday.
