Arsenal transfer news – Mikel Arteta “obsessed” with Moises Caicedo

If you cast your mind back to the January transfer window, there was one transfer saga which stood out above the rest. Arsenal were severely interested in signing Moises Caicedo, but Brighton ended up blocking a move.

According to the Spanish outlet Nacional (via Football365), Mikel Arteta is “obsessed” with the potential of signing Moises Caicedo and wants to sign the Ecuadorian midfielder at all costs. Therefore, it seems likely he is above Declan Rice in the pecking order.

It seems rare these days that any transfer news doesn’t involve Chelsea. This is because one half of the population of players play at Stamford Bridge.
