We’re heading towards the clutch end of the season now, where it’s do or die for the clubs at the top of the table, pushing for European qualification and, of course, fighting relegation. Of the three camps, Arsenal find themselves in the first, something they’ve not achieved since Arsene Wenger was at the helm at the start of this century.

However, they’ve made life difficult for themselves, in true Arsenal fashion. They face a tough trip to the Etihad Stadium this time next week to face Manchester City, who are right on the tail of the Gunners. This is the match which is likely to swing the title either way and a match which the most successful manager in Arsenal history will certainly be watching.

According to beIN SPORTS, Arsene Wenger has tipped the favourability of winning the Premier League title in the direction of Arsenal. Not only that, but he feels that if they win the title this year, it’ll be easier for them to do the same next year since the players will have matured and adopted a never say never mindset.

In many ways, Wenger set the standard at the club. He was responsible for coaching Mikel Arteta as a player, who aims to replicate the successes of his former manager in his new managerial role. Arteta coaches with respect and the players seem to reciprocate that same level of respect back to him. Many would hope that this mutual exchange is enough to win the title, but they must fight like champions on the pitch.

So, there have been many times where Wenger’s predictions have proven to be true. Arsenal fans will hope that this is one of them. It all comes down to winning that match next Wednesday.

Who do you think will win the Premier League this season?
