What have you been doing for the last week? Have you been watching paint dry, or watching the international break? Personally, I tried to watch the international break but physically couldn’t handle the boredom. Not to panic, though – Arsenal are back to Premier League action this weekend as they host Leeds United.

It’s an important match for the Gunners, as they all are in the final rundown to the title race. Mikel Arteta’s men are treating the final stretch as “10 cup finals”, with the first cup final coming against Leeds.

If you cast your mind back to the last time these two sides met, it was an enthralling watch. While 1-0 might not seem too enthralling, it could have easily been 4-1 or even 5-1 to Leeds, had it not been for Arsenal’s defensive resilience. Unfortunately for Arsenal, though, they’ve received some bad news recently. Kieran Tierney was in action for Scotland yesterday, as they got the win over Spain. However, he was taken off through injury. Many people misconceive that Rodri injured him, however, Daily Cannon reveal that the tackle put in by Rodri earlier in the match was not near Tierney’s injury.

Still, it looks likely that Tierney will be unavailable for Saturday’s fixture against Leeds United. It’ll be a big blow for Arsenal, but not something that will lose them the match. After all, Tierney would’ve probably been on the bench anyway. Missing his impact from the bench is a blow, though, since he often puts in a great shift against tired legs.

Zinchenko will start this match  instead as the Ukraine international went through the break injury free, much to Arteta’s pleasure.
