Next on the list of potential Arsenal signings is a man who’s been dubbed “the next Messi”. Ansu Fati who currently plays for FC Barcelona could be on the hunt for his next challenge in the summer, after a drop in game time at La Liga leaders.

According to GiveMeSport, Arsenal are eyeing an audacious move for Ansu Fati as Mikel Arteta is a big fan. He feels like the 20-year-old would be a solid addition to the young and harmonious squad he’s carefully crafting. Joining Gabriel Martinelli and Bukayo Saka could be a great pull factor for Ansu Fati, but it does make the reports slightly less believable.

After all, it’s more likely the Gunners will pursue a midfielder or a full-back in the upcoming transfer window. If the option presents itself, though, then who in their right mind would turn it down?

Look at Leandro Trossard for example – the deal wasn’t necessarily essential, however, the opportunity presented itself and the Gunners signed an exceptional winger for cheap. If the same occurs with Ansu Fati, don’t say I didn’t tell you.
