“Everyone together!” – Manchester United players react after statement win
Several Manchester United players took to Twitter to have their say after the club’s sensational 4-1 win over Real Betis in the UEFA Europa League.
United, coming off a hefty 7-0 drubbing at the hands of Liverpool, were quick to take charge on the night. The team scored their first goal via Marcus Rashford in the sixth minute of the game and looked to be in solid touch.
Manager Erik ten Hag named an unchanged squad from the defeat to Liverpool, possibly to test the mettle of his players. They proved to be up to the task despite Betis scoring an equalizer in the 32nd minute.
However, it did not take the Red Devils long after the break to take back the lead after a sensational goal from Antony. Bruno Fernandes and Wout Weghorst were also on the scoresheet as United ran away victors.
Following the victory, several United players, including Marcus Rashford, Fred, Luke Shaw, Diogo Dalot, and Bruno Fernandes, took to Twitter site to reflect on the victory and state their intentions for the future.
Dalot thanked Old Trafford for their relentless support and noted that the win was a great response.
Lisandro Martinez also hailed the victory.

Facundo Pellistri’s blistering run immediately after coming on as a substitute led to the fourth goal for Manchester United. He also took to Twitter to celebrate the win.
Marcus Rashford, who opened the scoring for United, was also active on Twitter. He praised the return to winning ways and also looked forward to the weekend at Old Trafford.
Bruno Fernandes, David De Gea, and Fred were also hyped about the win.
The Brazilian also commented that the atmosphere at Old Trafford was electric.
De Gea, who was prone to mistakes during the match, also sent a message about the “strong performance.”
Manchester United will next face Southampton at Old Trafford on Sunday. Erik ten Hag and his men will look to get closer to Manchester City, who are in second place and continue to be in the hunt for the title.
With fatigue becoming a factor, it remains to be seen whether some of the players who featured against Betis will be given a break.
