“Hideous” “Too cold” Arsenal fans split on rumoured kit for next season

It’s that time of year again. The time of year where kits for next season are on the verge of being released, but fans who claim to have insider knowledge release their “leaks”. Over the last 24 hours, Arsenal fans on Twitter have been sharing their opinion on the viral leaked home shirt for next season.

The leaked home shirt features a standard Arsenal colourway of white and red – the duo you’d expect to see in any Arsenal home shirt. However, they have featured an undertone of gold on their shoulder, sponsors and crest. This is the change which fans are not welcoming.

It’s important to note that it’s not been confirmed there’s any truth behind this leak. However, Arsenal fans are pretty good at deciphering events before they happen. Just look at the Mykhaylo Mudryk case for example, while he didn’t sign for the Gunners, the fans tracked his every move via hidden objects in his Instagram stories. Therefore, I wouldn’t put it past them getting this right.

In my personal opinion, I don’t like it. That said, I’ve never liked any leaked lineup until I’ve seen it being worn. In truth, it’s the memories which make the kit good or bad for me. I loved our recent bruised banana re-make but because of the season which we wore it, I don’t look back at it being a good kit. This season, though, I think the kit looks classy because we’ve played all season so far with class.
