Arsenal dropped two important points in their title race. It was, yet again, a set-piece which caught the Gunners out. Let’s see how the individuals fared in this frustrating display…
Arsenal player ratings – Goalkeeper and defence
GK. Aaron Ramsdale – 7/10 – The goal wasn’t really his fault but he will be frustrated not to get a clean sheet. Overall, his distribution was superb, creating some attacks from seemingly nothing.
RB. Ben White – 6/10 – Played better today but he’s still not 100%. He found himself in some promising positions going forward and had a few good defensive contributions, particularly aerial.
CB. William Saliba – 5/10 – I’ll be the first to say it, Saliba didn’t play well. Countless misplaced passes and general sloppiness. He could’ve done better to defend the set-piece too.
CB. Gabriel – 6.5/10
Again, Gabriel played well. He would’ve liked to keep a clean sheet for his efforts but a set-piece caught them out again. Still, it could’ve been worse had it not been for Gabriel’s solid display.
LB: Oleksandr Zinchenko – 6.5/10 – From what I can recall, he had 3 good chances to score – first was hit into row Z, the second was a mild improvement and the third was a genuinely good attempt. A lot of the play ran through him and overall, had a good display.
