By Kian Long
West Ham United are hoping for a busy end to the January transfer window…
In today’s West Ham transfer news – The Hammers agree fee with Newcastle to sell 21-year-old defender, a potential boost in the race for Aaron Wan-Bissaka and a hint that Lorient striker is on his way to London.
Let’s see what the papers are saying today…
West Ham transfer news – Harrison Ashby to Newcastle imminent
According to Sky Sports journalist Dharmesh Sheth on Twitter, Harrison Ashby is on his way to Newcastle United for a medical, after a £3m fee has been agreed by West Ham, allowing the Magpies to sign him.
This is a good bit of business from West Ham’s perspective because not only is a sell-on clause included, but Ashby was never on David Moyes’ long-term plans at the club, so it frees up some space in the squad for a potential late signing.
West Ham transfer news – A boost for Aaron Wan-Bissaka

West Ham transfer news – A further boost for Terem Moffi
Furthermore, Hammers News have reported another transfer boost, this time for Terem Moffi. Lorient announced the signing of new striker Bamba Dieng, which Hammers News speculate means the imminent arrival of Terem Moffi.
Terem Moffi is a player who has been on West Ham’s radar for the last few weeks, having already submitted a £25m bid.
