According to the latest report from the Times (subscription required), Arsenal have been informed by Real Sociedad that they must meet the £52.3m release clause stated in his contract if they would like to be sign Martin Zubimendi. Arsenal remain interested in the 23-year-old, but things could change depending on how Caicedo negotiations pan out.
