I’ll be honest, this one surprised me. I am a big fan of Mohamed Elneny, I like the passion he brings to the club and whenever he is called upon, he often excels in the midfield.
I would have never predicted, though, that Elneny had more Instagram followers then the 2 midfielders ahead of him, combined.
But when you think about it, it does make sense. Playing at Arsenal and Basel, while also going out on loan to Besiktas, he’s picked up fans from all over the globe. He is also an Egyptian fan favourite, while proudly celebrating his Islamic faith.
