Defenders

It’s been a pretty consistent defensive structure throughout this season for Arsenal. Luckily, Mikel Arteta has been fortunate enough that fitness levels have allowed for this. He always goes for a back four and I fully expect this to remain the same. No Pep-like formation curveballs here.

One of the most underrated performers so far this season is Ben White. He will start at right-back, after putting in a solid display in this position against Tottenham Hotspur.

On the other side, it will be Oleksandr Zinchenko. Zinchenko proves that he has the odd mistake in him, but he is always able to recuperate these mistakes and his presence in the team is unrivalled. Zinchenko has beaten Manchester United many times before and his winning mentality will transcend to his Arsenal teammates in this one.

The centre back pairing of choice? No prizes for guessing this one. It will be William Saliba and Gabriel – both players looked solid against Spurs, although they will hope to give Ramsdale less to do in this match.
