Chelsea striker Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang wants to re-join former club

Surprise surprise, Chelsea’s front-man Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang wants to leave yet ANOTHER club.
I said it when he first signed for Chelsea and I will say it again: Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang hates it when things don’t go his way. You could attribute it to his individual mentality as he wants the best for his career but this kind of mentality is awful to have in a team.
According to Spanish outlet AS, Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang wants to leave Chelsea and re-join his former club Barcelona. The Daily Mail have gone on to say the former Gabon international is desperate to leave Stamford Bridge and even willing to play almost for free if he can leave.
In the Premier League this season, Aubameyang has been woeful. Having only scored one goal and provided no assists, he’s been far below his usual standard. To put this into context, Liverpool goalkeeper Alisson has the same number of goal contributions as Chelsea’s striker.
Although, in fairness to Auba, I couldn’t name you a single Chelsea player who I would describe as ‘good’ this season. He is part of a bad system, alongside bad players, which has resulted in a bad club atmosphere. Towards the end of his career, you can’t fault him for wanting to play good football elsewhere.
With Joao Felix coming to Stamford Bridge, this provides further complications for Auba. He is likely to be benched more often than he would like with the Portugal international expected to be a first-team signing.
I guess, though, it is indicative of his career. Aubameyang has played in a lot of different clubs under a lot of different managers. However, he has only achieved very mild success. As far as Chelsea are concerned, they should be thinking good riddance – good riddance to his awful attitude and attacking third contributions.
Do you think Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang will get his move back to Barcelona?
