Manchester City are planning ahead for next season, when they wish to sign this midfield monster.
Manchester City are one of the best clubs in the world under the best coach, Pep Guardiola. The Spanish manager has turned them into world-beaters. However, they currently sit second in the Premier League, which will anger Pep.
With this in mind, the City recruitment team has been hard at work, deciphering a plan which would retain their previous dominance. The recruitment team is also largely backed by the financial team, who love to throw as much money as possible into the powerhouse club.
According to a new report from ESPN, Manchester City have planned ahead to next season. The reliable source claims that Pep Guardiola’s priority is to sign Jude Bellingham, the 19-year-old Borussia Dortmund midfield prodigy.
Bellingham had an impressive World Cup campaign, where he was England’s best player and a contender for the best young player in the tournament. His footwork and ability to drive forward from midfield was the key reason why England had one of the best attacking displays in the competition.
There are no two ways about it – Bellingham will be the main talking point in the next transfer window. Pretty much all the European superclubs will want to sign him, as they recognise the Englishman as one of the players to watch out for the future.
And they’re right in thinking so. Bellingham is an all-round player. He can tackle, he can dribble, he can pass and he can score. To have all this in his locker at such a young age is a rarity.
Imagining Bellingham playing alongside Kevin De Bruyne is simply unthinkable. Manchester City already have the best midfield in the league, perhaps even the world – to introduce Bellingham to this would make them unbeatable.
Do you think Manchester City will sign Jude Bellingham?
