Manchester United gets help from three key players in win against Wolves

Manchester United defeated Wolves 1-0 helping them move into the top 4 of the table. It was an overall effort for United, however there three key players that had a huge role, let’s take a look.

Marcus Rashford

No doubt Marcus Rashford is one of the key players from this game as he was the only goal scorer during the match. To many surprise, Rashford was dropped from today’s squad and had to come off the bench. As soon as he come on you could tell he was making an impact as United was creating more chances, including a 76th minute game winner goal. Rashford’s transformation from the beginning of the season to know has been a wonderful watch.

Bruno Fernandes

The magical midfielder had his struggles throughout the game, but he made some crucial passes and plays, like setting up the game winning goals. We constantly saw Fernandes causing pressure on the Wolves midfield and backline which led to some shaky passes. With the other midfielders in Casemiro and Eriksen, Bruno has been playing like the better midfielder last few games. It’s a shame that not all of the players on Manchester United play for the badge, however Bruno is one of the players that does.

David De Gea

Speaking of players who play for the club, De Gea was on fire tonight as he kept another clean sheet. De Gea made some great saves this match, however there were three huge saves that helped United win this game. Out of those saves, two of them came at the end of each half and then the other came from a great free kick from Ruben Neves. Safe to say that De Gea has been clinical all season for this United squad.
