Manchester United star defender could transfer back to his old club

Manchester United risk losing one of their best defenders as his old club wants to re-sign him.
Manchester United have performed well at times this season. They sit in 5th place of the Premier League table, a position they would like to improve on in the second half of the season. To achieve this, they hope that players will be fit and ready to play after the World Cup.
A player who didn’t make the World Cup, much to the dismay of England fans, is Aaron Wan-Bissaka. The 25-year-old Manchester United full-back has been nursing an injury for some time now, ever since September. Having started a grand total of zero Premier League matches this season, it will be good to see the defender in the second half of the season.
According to a report from the Evening Standard, Manchester United run the risk of losing Aaron Wan-Bissaka. The report claims that Crystal Palace are interested in re-signing him in the January transfer window.
- The 3 best Premier League players at the World Cup
- Man United may replace Cristiano Ronaldo in fine fashion with £106m man
It is indicative of his character, the fact that Crystal Palace are willing to go back into sign him, three years after they sold him to the Old Trafford club. During his time at the Red Devils, he has improved on the defensive foundations he set at Palace.
Many, including myself, dub him as the best defensive-minded full-back in the Premier League. It takes a lot for wingers to get past him as what he may lack in pace, he makes up for in tenacity, determination and ego. And I mean ego in the best possible way – he doesn’t like being beaten and he will put his body on the line to prevent being beaten on the flank.
Crystal Palace sit mid-table in 11th, but they are capable of so much more. They have great squad harmony at the moment, something they feel wouldn’t be jeopardised as Wan-Bissaka would fit straight back into the dressing room.
Do you think Crystal Palace will sign Aaron Wan-Bissaka once more?
