Should Manchester United consider signing Youssoufa Moukoko?
The attack of Manchester United has not been the same since the departure of CR7 and the suspension of Greenwood. The club is left with Anthony Martial, Marcus Rashford, Anthony Elanga, Antony and Alejandro Garnacho in their forward line-up and an injury to any player has caused a lot of problems for Erik ten Hag. The Old Trafford outfit desperately needs an option up top to compete for various titles.
The club is currently linked with Memphis Depay and Cody Gakpo to fill the attacking boots. Gakpo would cost a fortune for Manchester United, even though Memphis Depay could come cheap. If they plan to delay signing Gakpo, Youssoufa Moukoko can be a stopgap as well as a long-term solution. As multiple clubs are interested in Moukoko, Manchester United can try signing the player on a cut-price deal instead of a pre-contract agreement.
The injury record of Yousufaso Moukoko is the only cause of concern for Erik ten Hag. The forward missed 100+ days in the last season owing to injury. Moukoko can be a great addition to the attack if the club can keep him injury-free.
