Chelsea transfer news: Fofana close to signing, Moukoko and Felix off
By Kian Long
For today’s Chelsea transfer news roundup, it’s a mixture of emotions for the Blues.
With January fast approaching, Chelsea transfer news is coming in thick and thin. It goes without saying that Graham Potter is looking at his attacking options and wanting some additions to come in for the second half of the season – it’s certainly needed to, as the Blues haven’t been flowing in attack.
Without further ado, what have the papers been saying?
Chelsea on the verge of signing David Datro Fofana
Chelsea’s first bit of business for the January transfer window is close to completion before the window is even open. The often-reliable Fabrizio Romano claims that David Datro Fofana, the 19-year-old Molde attacker is ‘on the verge’ of signing for more than 10m euros.
Chelsea transfer news: Joao Felix favours a move to Paris Saint-Germain
It’s not looking good for the Blues. According to a report from Gianluca di Marzio via Soccernews, chief target Joao Felix is eyeing up a move to Paris Saint-Germain, his favoured destination. PSG obviously have the funds to meet his requirements.
Chelsea transfer news: Youssoufa Moukoko close to signing a new deal with Dortmund
Again, another target is choosing to stay away from Stamford Bridge. According to a report from Metro, the 18-year-old Germany prodigy is close to signing a new deal with Borussia Dortmund, despite interest from Chelsea, Manchester United and Liverpool.
Chelsea choose to pursue Rafael Leao again
Previous Chelsea target Rafael Leao had a terrific World Cup tournament with Portugal before they were knocked out. Givemesport has indicated that the Blues will try once more to convince AC Milan to allow him to join.
What do you make of this segment of Chelsea transfer news, Blues? Is it looking good for Graham Potter and co or must it improve?
