Ivan Fresneda is all set to invite the bidding war in the upcoming transfer window as Arsenal, Liverpool and other Premier League clubs show interest in him

According to recent reports in Spanish outlets, Ivan Fresneda has garnered the attention of multiple European clubs. The 18-year-old is in demand as Italian giants like Juventus, Inter Milan and the at least nine Premier League clubs, including Liverpool, Arsenal and Newcastle United, have shown interest in securing his services.

Ivan Fresneda’s 2022/23 season by numbers

The 18-year-old Spanish right-back has featured in six games for Real Valladol’s senior team and has four starts. He averages a pass completion rate of 79.8 with 2.12 passes per game in the Spanish top division.

The athletic full-back has excellent defensive numbers. Ivan Fresneda averages 1.54 interceptions per 90 alongside 1.92 tackles won per game. He has yet to register a goal or an assist for the senior team.

The January transfer window will be one to watch as the European clubs have scouted their targets during the FIFA World Cup. The transfer fees of certain players will hit the roof, whereas some players’ prices will drop considerably as the parent clubs have put them on the transfer list. Amongst those players, Joao Felix will be one to watch as Manchester United and Arsenal set their sights on the player.

While few clubs are looking forward to signing experienced players, clubs like Real Madrid and Chelsea are entering the race to sign talented youngsters like Endrick and Datro Fofana. Similarly, Ivan Fresneda’s transfer saga will be one to watch as there is huge competition for young right-backs in the transfer market. The Real Valladolid player will not come cheap for any of the clubs in the winter transfer window.
