Manchester United legend Cristiano Ronaldo could leave the club on bitter feelings.

Unless you have been living under a rock, you have seen clips of the Cristiano Ronaldo with Piers Morgan. The Portuguese superstar admitted he felt betrayed by how Manchester United had treated him, from the board down to the manager.

It came as no surprise, as for consistent matches this season, Ronaldo has been left on the bench and there has clearly been some tension behind the scenes. Piers is no stranger to getting the truth out of people, so he put his journalistic skills to great use by getting it out of Ronaldo.

When comments of this magnitude are out in the public domain, it is in the club’s best interest to plan quickly but decisively what the best route of action is. There are a lot of question marks around Manchester United as a club at the moment and the way they deal with this situation will tell a lot about them.

According to the Telegraph, it looks like Manchester United will terminate Cristiano Ronaldo’s contract. Although, the Red Devils will wait until they have watched the full video to finalise the decision.

It would make a great statement if United are to end Ronaldo’s time at Old Trafford this early. He is certainly the greatest player to ever play for the club, and is many people’s GOAT. When his transfer back to Manchester was confirmed, it made world news, and people around the globe eagerly anticipated his debut.

For the time being, Ronaldo is with his international teammates. He will represent Portugal in what will be his final World Cup in Qatar. This is the best place for him, as he won’t want to deal with any hostility in what is the biggest competition of his life.
